Discount coupons can be applied to a cart, generating a global discount over the whole cart.
When a coupon is created, it is available to be applied to any cart by adding it by its code. Coupons have a single use, but multiple coupons can be applied to the same cart. Coupon discounts are applied to the global discount of the cart.
In the cases where the total discount of the applied coupons is not fully used (when the cart total is less than the coupons discount) the difference will be lost.
Click Create. A new row will be displayed in the coupons table.
Enter the Code and Title.
Only alphanumeric characters (a-z, A-Z, 0-9), hyphens (-), and underscores (_) are allowed.
The Code should be readable and representative of the content. Irrelevant or redundant words should be avoided.
There cannot be two coupons with the same code and, once the coupon was saved, the code cannot be updated.
